TREE WOODSMITH
Creative Director & Brand Photographer
Tree WoodSmith is a brand photographer and creative director with a passion for designing experiences that connect people to purpose. With a background in spa design, event planning, nonprofit storytelling, and logistics, she brings a unique mix of creativity and structure to every shoot. Over the past 10 years, she’s helped professionals and businesses craft bold, strategic imagery that reflects their values and vision.
Tree’s approach is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and care — helping clients feel seen, confident, and fully themselves in front of the lens. She’s photographed across the U.S. and internationally, and now mentors fellow photographers in the art of authentic visual storytelling. As co-founder of WOOD & SMITH, she blends vision and strategy into every frame.
JOS WOODSMITH
Creative Photographer & Lead Educator
Jos WoodSmith is a brand photographer with over 20 years of experience in branding, headshot, portrait, and event photography. With a background in communication and corporate training, he brings a strategic, story-driven approach to every shoot — helping professionals and teams show up with clarity and confidence.
He has photographed for clients across industries, including Microsoft, Oregon State University, Watson Creative, and Lewis & Clark Bank. His work is known for its authenticity, polish, and collaborative process.
Jos is also an international speaker, workshop instructor, and competition judge. Based in Portland and working nationally, he continues to evolve his craft while staying rooted in one belief: great imagery starts with listening and ends in powerful, purpose filled results.
Alex SMITH
Photo Assistant & Social Tech
Alex Smith is a tech-savvy creative with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Known for her positive vibes, sharp sense of humor, and infectious laughter, she brings energy and warmth to every shoot. With a background as a hairdresser and makeup artist, Alex has spent the past six years working alongside Jos and Tree on major photoshoots, mastering creative lighting and the art of collaboration. Expressive and articulate, she’s a thoughtful team player who genuinely cares about making every moment – and every person – shine.
